New Delhi, Dec 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) The BJP on Thursday made serious allegations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of aligning with international forces and investigative media platforms allegedly working to destabilise India.

The party cited a report from the French media outlet Mediapart, which highlighted the involvement of entities such as billionaire George Soros, US-based agencies, and the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) as part of a "dangerous triangle" aimed at fostering instability in the country. The BJP in no uncertain terms linked the Congress leader to all this.

BJP leaders allege that before every Parliament session, foreign forces bring up issues that the opposition uses to create disturbances in the House, preventing the session from functioning smoothly. In an interview with IANS on Thursday, Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma and Union Minister of State Sukanta Majumdar expressed their views on this matter.

Dinesh Sharma stated: "It is unfortunate. Some opposition parties sympathise with those who create instability. When a Parliament session is about to start, a big event is engineered to bring up issues that create instability in the country. These issues emerge before the session, and once the session ends, they stop talking about them. Such events originate from abroad and are then propagated within our country. The opposition creates a ruckus in Parliament over them. Since they can't gather crowds on the streets, they do it in the House. This tendency should be avoided.”

Commenting on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's statement that what is happening in Sambhal and Bangladesh today is similar to what Babur did 500 years ago, Sharma clarified, “This statement does not refer to the citizens of Sambhal. They are respected by us. However, there are people who have come wearing a mask and are using American and Pakistani bullets. In videos, they are openly firing guns. These individuals have a terrorist mindset."

Union Minister of State Sukanta Majumdar said, "Congress created a ruckus over Covid. The issues that are discussed abroad are raised by the opposition in the House. Their aim is to halt India’s progress. The Opposition wants to move forward with a regressive mindset. They want voting by ballot papers instead of EVMs."

Targeting the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal, he said: "Mamata Banerjee has kept the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on hold and did not allow its implementation. Now, she is saying that new people should come there. She is not able to manage the people of West Bengal. She should first clarify her stand. She knows that most Hindus in West Bengal are voting for the BJP instead of her, which is why she is making such statements to woo them. People should stay cautious of her."
