Reflecting on her own experiences, Bhumi shared, “I have had a very peculiar journey with platform space, I was looking to do a longer format, and nothing was clicking, and then last year, I went ahead and did two shows, back to back. And I think that came from a space, just understanding there is just nothing bigger than good content.”
“And especially for an actor like me, who is the product of the films or the stories that I have been part of, I am a product of good content and I will like it’s such a disruptive platform, it’s such a disruptive medium, for an actor like me, it gives me chance to be part of so many diverse stories, without the pressure of anything else than just to be my most authentic self, presenting that character. Just try to excel in every way possible to make that story work and that’s why I feel this medium is so important. My last film Bhakshak got immense love and I think that is the first time I realized the power of any of the digital platforms” added Bhumi.
