Asha Negi, known for her successful television career, has been making waves in the digital space with a series of web projects. Recently, she shared her thoughts on returning to television, stating, "I don't think I have the patience for a television show anymore. Web series are fantastic—they usually wrap up in two to three months, allowing for a break before diving into something new. I find that exciting and creatively fulfilling. So, going back to television would be a challenge for me now."

 

Asha's latest venture is the highly anticipated web series Honeymoon Photographer, set to premiere on September 27, 2024, on JioCinema. In this gripping crime thriller, she takes on the role of Ambika Nath, a honeymoon photographer whose life takes an unexpected turn during a work assignment in the Maldives.

 

Reflecting on her character, Asha remarked, "The character has many layers. The audience has mostly seen me as a sweet girl, but this role is different. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and do something new." She described Ambika as a flawed, relatable human being, making the role both challenging and rewarding.

 

Honeymoon Photographer follows Ambika as she embarks on a seemingly idyllic assignment, only for the narrative to darken when a wealthy couple's husband, Ahir, is found dead on the beach. As the police investigate, suspicion falls on both Ambika and the newly wealthy wife, Zoya Irani. The unfolding mystery reveals hidden truths and unexpected twists, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

 

Directed by Arjun Srivastava and produced by Washid Mallick, Sushmitha Shetty, and Rishabh Seth under Green Light Productions, Honeymoon Photographer promises to be a thrilling ride. The series will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, and Telugu, broadening its appeal to a diverse audience.
