An Unbelievable Honor Says Prabhas On Working With Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan

Prabhas, the renowned actor known for his roles in epic, expressed his profound gratitude and awe at the opportunity to work alongside legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in Kalki 2898 AD. 

 

Prabhas along with Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan along with Rana Daggubati graced the 'Kalki 2898 AD' pre-release event in Mumbai on Wednesday. 

 

 When asked about working with two mega-star in Kalki, Prabhas said, “I should thank Nag Ashwin for giving me an opportunity to work with such legends, it’s like bigger than dream. I don't know what else to say, the first time I met Amitabh Bachchan sir, I touched his feet, and he said, don’t do it, if you do it, I will do it, and I said, please sir, don’t do it. I grew up watching him, my uncles had his hairstyle, he is the first actor in the country who reached every part of the country.”  

 

“Kamal Haasan sir, when his movie Sagara Sangamam released, I asked my mother about Kamal sir’s address, I saw his other movie and tried to imitate his roles in my childhood, and now I am working with them, this is like something unbelievable, and I am just thankful” added Prabhas. 

 

Talking about working with Deepika for the first time, Prabhas added, “I’d always wanted to work with Deepika Padukone, there are only some actors and actress, who has reached such international level, and she is beautiful, gorgeous, superstar and a great actress, it was beautiful to work with her.”  

 

Written and directed by Nag Ashwin., inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in the year 2898 AD. The film is slated for 27th June 2024 release.
