The cast of the popular newsroom drama The Broken News, including Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, was recently spotted shooting for the second season of the series in Andheri, Mumbai. The visuals from the set showcase the actors in their characters' elements, hinting at an intriguing storyline ahead.

 

 

Shriya Pilgaonkar, essaying the character of Radha Bhargava, was seen sporting a grey short dress, layered with a black blazer and black heels, exuding a stylish yet professional aura.

 

Jaideep Ahlawat, portraying Dipankar Sanyal, the head of 'Josh 24x7', opted for a casual yet sharp look, wearing a white T-shirt, blue denim shirt, matching trousers, and a red beanie cap.

 

Directed by Vinay Waikul, The Broken News revolves around the intense rivalry between two news channels, 'Awaaz Bharati' and 'Josh 24/7'. The series delves into the intricacies of the media industry, portraying the challenges and dynamics of running a news channel in a competitive environment.

 

Apart from Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, the series also stars Sonali Bendre, Indraneil Sengupta, Aakash Khurana, and Mugdha Godse, among others, adding depth and diversity to the ensemble cast.

 

The first season of The Broken News was released on Zee5 in June 2022, receiving praise for its gripping narrative and stellar performances.
