Aakanksha Singh Pays Tribute To Martyrs Of Pulwama Attack

While the world is busy celebrating Valentine’s Day, actress Aakanksha Singh pays a heartfelt tribute to martyrs of Pulwana Attack, which took place five years ago on the same date. 

 

 

Sharing a video post on her social media, Aakanksha Singh captioned her post, “While working on the series #Ranneeti I understood what really transpired on this day 5years ago. Time has passed but nothing can take away the pain & suffering of the families of the jawans who lost their lives in the #PulwanaAttack. I bow down to the brave soldiers of our nation #IndiaWillNeverForget their sacrifice.” 

 

In the video, Aakanksha Singh is seen saying, “Red colour is associated with 14thFeb, which signifies love, it is also the same kind of love which we have for our motherland. This colour is symbolic for bravery and sacrifice. I pay my tribute to those brave soldiers, who lost their lives in terror attack in Pulwama…India will never forget their sacrifice”

 

The series Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond, also starring Lara Dutta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ashutosh Rana, Prasanna, Suneel Sinha, Aakanksha Singh, and Sikandar Kharbanda, showcased the stories of the unsung heroes who have helped India during airstrikes of Balakot in 2019.
