Akshay Kumar Shines Spotlight on Wildlife Conservation at Dr. Ramakanta Panda’s ‘Heartbeats’ Exhibition”

In a star-studded event in Mumbai, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar lent his name to a noble cause, gracing the Wildlife Photography Exhibition titled 'Heartbeats' by Dr. Ramakanta Panda. Dressed in a crisp white shirt and black denims, Akshay Kumar not only added glamour to the event but also demonstrated his commitment to wildlife conservation.

 

The 'Heartbeats' exhibition, curated by Dr. Ramakanta Panda, showcases a collection of captivating wildlife photographs. The proceeds from the exhibition are earmarked for a significant cause — protecting and providing for wildlife workers and acquiring essential equipment for conservation efforts.

 

When asked about the pictures in his exhibition and his take on photography, Akshay Kumar said, “All of them are such lovely photographs, it takes a lot of patience to take such pictures, as Dr Ramakant was just telling me, we used to go out around 5 in morning and wait till 9 in night, at one spot, so that he can capture animals coming and going through his lens. It is tough job, this is like dedication and hard work, and the kind of photographs he has taken, he has done a marvelous job.”

 

Akshay Kumar not only graced the event but also went a step further by purchasing two of Dr. Ramakanta Panda's photographs. One of the acquired images, a striking portrayal of a boar, stands as a testament to the actor's personal investment in supporting the cause.
