The funeral and cremation ceremony of the late filmmaker took place today at the Oshiwara Crematorium Ground in Mumbai. The film industry bid a tearful adieu to a visionary who left an indelible impact on Bollywood. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and veteran actress Tabu were among those who paid their last respects at the funeral, highlighting the deep sense of loss within the industry.
Tabu was seen donning a black outfit with shawl around the shoulders. While, Ashutosh was seen in white shirt and blue denims.
Sanjay Gadhvi's collaboration with actor Abhishek Bachchan in the 'Dhoom' series became particularly noteworthy. The director-actor duo created magic on screen, and their camaraderie was evident, contributing significantly to the success of the franchise. The unexpected demise of Gadhvi has left Bachchan and the entire film fraternity in shock, with many expressing their grief and fond memories on social media.
Apart from Dhoom franchise, Sanjay has also directed note-worthy thrillers such as Kidnap, Operation Parindey and Ajab Gazabb Love.
He is survived by wife Gina and his two kids.
