Suniel Shetty, who plays a pivotal role in the film, didn't hold back when speaking about Sooraj’s journey. “This kid has put on a lot of hard work. He has gone through a lot in life,” said Shetty, addressing Sooraj with genuine affection. “Everybody gets another opportunity. Trust me, this is the opportunity that the Almighty has given, that Mahadev has given. You’ll see this in this film.”
In a particularly touching moment, Suniel compared Sooraj to his own son, Ahan Shetty, expressing a sense of paternal pride. “For me, it’s like my son Ahan on screen every time I see Sooraj. That’s the kind of effort he has put in. That’s why I pray for him, and I hope that the film works and creates the magic that we all believe it should.” His words drew applause from the audience, adding emotional weight to the event.
Kesari Veer, set to hit theaters on May 16, 2025, tells the story of Hamirji Gohil, a warrior who fought valiantly to protect the Somnath temple from invaders. With powerful themes of courage, faith, and redemption both on and off screen, the film is already striking a chord with audiences — and Sooraj Pancholi’s performance, backed by Suniel Shetty’s heartfelt endorsement, is one of the most talked-about highlights of the trailer.
