Suniel Shetty Urges Unity After Pahalgam Attack: “My Next Trip Is Definitely to Kashmir”

In the wake of the heartbreaking terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the nation is grieving. Amid the sorrow, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has stepped forward with a heartfelt message that resonates deeply. Calling for strength, unity, and resilience, Shetty urged fellow Indians not to succumb to fear, but instead to stand in solidarity with Kashmir. “The saddest part is that the tragedy that happened in our country is playing over and over again before our eyes, everywhere,” Shetty expressed.

 

He emphasized that this is a time for unity, a time when every Indian must rise above fear and hatred, and instead choose togetherness and hope.“This is the time when we must unite. Those trying to spread hatred and fear are trying to create a certain atmosphere. We must rise above it and stand strong. Let’s pledge to celebrate our next holiday in Kashmir.”

 

With conviction in his voice, he added: “Even if the call comes tomorrow, we must be ready to go to Kashmir. I’m ready—my next trip is definitely going to be Kashmir.”

 

Suniel Shetty also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack. “For us, service to humanity is service to God. The Almighty will see everything. At this moment, we need to stand together as Indians—united as one nation. We must not fall for the traps of fear and hatred being laid out.”

 

He reminded the nation that Kashmir has always been, and will always be, a part of India.“We must show them—Kashmir was ours, is ours, and will forever remain ours. Our army, our leaders are doing their part; as citizens, this is our responsibility.”

 

Suniel Shetty shared that he personally called to say he’s ready to visit Kashmir, not just as a tourist but also as an artist—to shoot, to travel, and to experience its beauty. “There is no fault of the Kashmiri children. After years, this government has brought them hope, livelihood. Tourism is growing. Kashmir is breathtakingly beautiful—we can now truly see the valleys. I’ve visited a few times, and even inaugurated the  42 km marathon there.”

 

In a final, resounding message, he urged: “Let no one fear. Let’s show our presence in Kashmir, show the people there that we stand with them. Let us be there, with them, in spirit and in person.”
