Nani Confident About HIT 3 After Trailer Goes Viral: “Now We Are Excited About the Movie Release”

Natural Star Nani, who returns as the intense and sharp-witted Arjun Sarkaar in HIT: The Third Case, is brimming with confidence following the overwhelmingly positive response to the film’s trailer. The actor recently spoke with the media in Mumbai, sharing his thoughts on the project and what sets this third installment apart from its predecessors.

Opening up about his initial nervousness, Nani admitted that he was a little tense before the trailer dropped. “Trailer finding the love and appreciation is the first half of the challenge, so that’s been done, and it was a huge challenge. The trailer is being appreciated and viral, so we have passed the first half in flying colors,” he said. “We were a little tense about the first half, the trailer response. Now that’s been done, now we are excited about the movie release.”

Speaking on how HIT 3 raises the bar for the franchise, Nani described the film as a major evolution from the previous two entries. “HIT 3 is totally different from previous installments. HIT 1 and HIT 2 were single-point investigations—there was a murder, and in the end, we find the culprit. Now HIT 3 isn’t about who, it is more about how,” he explained. “It is an action thriller, it is an extreme theatrical experience, with new grammar, presentation, and scope—everything is new and different.”

Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Third Case is the latest chapter in the HIT Universe, produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani himself under the banners of Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions. The film stars Nani and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles, with a strong supporting cast that includes Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Maganti Srinath. With music by Mickey J. Meyer, cinematography by Sanu John Varghese, and editing by Karthika Srinivas, the film is gearing up for a worldwide release on May 1, 2025.
