Diljit Dosanjh Wraps Up ‘Sardaar Ji 3’, Promises Laughter and Magic This June

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is all set to return to the big screen with the much-anticipated third installment of the beloved Sardaar Ji franchise. The singer-actor took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a major update with fans: the shoot for Sardaar Ji 3 is officially complete, and the film will hit theatres on June 27. With trademark Diljit energy, he wrote, “SARDAAR JI 3 Releasing 27th June… Finally shoot finish ho geya! Sari team ne baut mehnat kiti aa… Baba bhaag lavey. Milde an theaters BOOOOOOO… MAIN TAN DAR GI!”

 

The actor accompanied his announcement with a couple of slick photos where he’s seen rocking a black leather jacket and classic blue jeans—already teasing the quirky, larger-than-life vibe the film is known for. Judging by the excitement in his post, fans can expect more of the laughter, fantasy, and eccentric charm that made the Sardaar Ji series a blockbuster in the first place.

 

Joining Diljit on this magical ride are Neeru Bajwa, reprising her role from the original film, and popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, who makes her Punjabi cinema debut. While plot details are still under wraps, the combination of fresh casting and the return of the original magic hints at a nostalgic yet evolved story that aims to entertain a new generation of viewers. Given the eight-year gap since Sardaar Ji 2, the excitement is at an all-time high.

 

Directed once again by Rohit Jugraj, who helmed the first two parts, Sardaar Ji 3 promises to blend fantasy, horror, comedy, and heart—just as its predecessors did, but with a bigger canvas and bolder ambitions.
