Bollywood Stands United in Grief and Outrage Over Pahalgam Terror Attack

The nation continues to mourn the tragic loss of innocent lives following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The brutal incident, which targeted unarmed civilians—many of whom were tourists—has evoked strong condemnation from across the country. Members of the Indian film fraternity have taken to social media to express their grief, outrage, and unwavering solidarity with the victims.

 

Actor Sidharth Malhotra, deeply shaken by the incident, tweeted: “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on innocent civilians is a cowardly act. I have full faith in our armed forces and I’m sure they will do the needful and ensure justice. My prayers and thoughts are with the families of the innocent victims. Jai Hind!”

 

Sanjay Dutt, known for his patriotism and bold voice, issued a powerful statement calling for action: “They killed our people in cold blood. This can’t be forgiven, these terrorists need to know we are not staying quiet. We need to retaliate, I request our Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, Home Minister @AmitShah ji and Defence Minister @rajnathsingh ji to give them what they deserve.”

 

Actor Varun Dhawan also expressed his heartbreak and frustration in an emotional tweet: “The #PahalgamTerrorAttack is a cowardly evil attack and shows the mindset behind the people who plan these attacks. Writing on Twitter doesn’t do anything, but this is the only outlet we have. I am sure the real heroes on ground, the INDIAN army, will answer. Prayers and condolences for the departed souls who were innocently and peacefully causing no harm to anyone and yet had to incur. Om Shanti.”
