Trailer of Aata Thambaycha Naay Promises Laughter, Lessons & Life’s Second Chances

Zee Studios has once again struck a heartfelt chord with the trailer launch of Aata Thambaycha Naay, a Marathi film that inspires a fresh outlook on life. Set for release on Maharashtra Day, May 1, the film is a slice-of-life tale wrapped in warmth, humor, and a big dose of inspiration. Co-produced by Chalk & Cheese Films and Film Jazz, this family entertainer is based on a true story that reminds us: it’s never too late to learn or dream.

 

The film follows a group of BMC workers—everyday heroes who never completed their 10th-grade education. When one determined officer sees their potential, a simple idea turns into a transformative mission: getting them back to school. The trailer balances the gravity of their challenges with delightful humor, making it clear that this isn’t just about exams—it’s about dignity, second chances, and rediscovering self-worth. And with the soulful track “Bholanath” playing in the background, emotions are guaranteed.

 

Returning to the big screen after four years, Bharat Jadhav leads a stellar cast including Siddharth Jadhav, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rohini Hattangadi, Shrikant Yadav, Om Bhutkar, Parn Pethe, and more. Directed by debutant Shivraj Waichal, the film promises a strong narrative supported by beautiful music by Gulraj Singh and lyrics by Manoj Yadav. Waichal says, “This film is a tribute to resilience and the unsung heroes around us. It’s my first film, and I couldn’t have asked for a better story to tell.”
