Stars Shine at the Special Screening of Chhorii 2 as the Horror Sequel Raises the Stakes

A special screening of the much-awaited horror sequel Chhorii 2 lit up the city, drawing a host of familiar faces from the industry. Celebrities including Pashmina Roshan, Tasneem Bharucha, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Tanvir Bharucha, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Angad Bedi, and Neha Dhupia were spotted attending the event, lending their support to the film's cast and crew. The screening marked a celebratory moment for the team as the chilling follow-up to the 2021 sleeper hit gets set to terrify audiences once more.

 

Chhorii 2 picks up seven years after the haunting events of the first film. Nushrratt Bharuccha returns as Sakshi, now a mother fighting a terrifying new battle—this time to save her young daughter, Ishani, from the clutches of a sinister cult. The stakes are personal and higher than ever, as Ishani is kidnapped by a group that seeks to sacrifice her in a ritual intended to bring prosperity to their village.

 

Joining the narrative is Soha Ali Khan in a pivotal role, adding fresh energy to the sequel’s evolving story. The cult, led by a mysterious and dangerous figure known as Daasi Maa, draws Sakshi deep into a horrifying world of superstition and sacrifice. Alongside her trusted ally, police officer Samar, Sakshi embarks on a desperate journey to outwit the cult and rescue her daughter before it's too late.

 

Directed with the same eerie atmosphere and social commentary as the original, Chhorii 2 not only continues its tale of supernatural horror but also digs deeper into the societal issues that underpin the fear. With strong performances, an emotionally driven plot, and a chilling antagonist, the sequel promises to deliver both scares and substance to fans of the genre.
