Sanjay Dutt on Reuniting with Salman Khan After 25 Years: ‘Excited to Work with My Younger Brother'”

At the trailer launch of his upcoming film The Bhootnii, Sanjay Dutt shared his excitement about his latest project and the journey of working on the film. The trailer has already impressed the audience, and the film is set for release on April 18th. Alongside the star cast, Sanjay Dutt expressed his gratitude towards the people who supported the film.

 

Sanjay Baba also shared his thoughts on the trailer of Sikandar. He said,  “The Sikandar trailer is a superhit. He’s my brother, my little brother, and I always pray for his success. The film is going to be a hit!”

 

Sanjay also revealed that he’s working with Salman Khan again. “Yes, we are working together. We’ve both been a part of Saajan and Chal Mere Bhai. Now, you’ll get to see us together in a bit of Tashan. It’s an action-packed film. I’m excited and happy to be working with my brother after 25 years,” he said with enthusiasm.

 

Sanjay talked about how the film 'The Bhootnii' script was brought to him by Sidhaant, the film’s writer and director. “Sidhaant brought the script, and I absolutely loved it. It's a horror-comedy, which I had never done before. The script was really sweet."

 

He also thanked Deepak Ji for his support, along with Mouni and Sunny, who were part of the team. 

 

A special mention was made of his physical involvement in the film’s action sequences and a Shiv Tandav in the film. Sanjay revealed, “I did all my own action in this film. No body double! It’s been over 40 years, and I’m still doing action. I’m a Shiv Bhakt. I feel the power and energy of Lord Shiv’s Tandav came into me. We shot until 5 a.m., and how we did it, only Lord Bhole Baba knows!”

 

The Bhootnii is an upcoming Hindi-language horror film, written and directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, and Palak Tiwari. It is set to release on April 18, 2025.
