Salman Khan Praises Rashmika Mandanna’s Dedication to Her Work Despite Health Setbacks

Salman Khan recently took a moment to appreciate his Sikandar co-star Rashmika Mandanna for her incredible dedication to her work, even when she was not feeling her best. Speaking at the Sikandar trailer launch, Salman shared an inspiring anecdote about Rashmika’s commitment.

 

“I think all of them are fantastic, they have worked really, really hard, especially Rashmika Mandanna,” Salman said. “She was shooting for Pushpa 2 while we were filming Sikandar. She would finish her Pushpa shoot by seven in the evening, and by nine, she’d join us for the Sikandar shoot. She would work with us till 6 in the morning and then go back to finish her work on Pushpa 2. And the whole time, she wasn’t even feeling well.”

 

Salman continued, highlighting her resilience further: “And then, after breaking her leg, she still shot with us for Sikandar. She didn’t cancel a single day of work. She reminds me a lot of me... younger me.”

 

Salman’s words underscore Rashmika’s unwavering professionalism and work ethic, which have undoubtedly earned her the admiration of her peers. Despite her health challenges, she pushed through to give her best on set, showcasing the kind of dedication that has made her one of the most respected stars in the industry.

 

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. The highly anticipated film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 30, 2025, in both standard and IMAX formats, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
