Manju Warrier on L2: Empuraan: A Role Made Easy by Prithviraj’s Vision

Manju Warrier, who will be seen in the highly anticipated film L2: Empuraan directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, spoke at the trailer launch on Thursday , expressing her excitement and gratitude for being a part of the project.

 

The actress began by sharing her emotions, saying, "I can't think of any other emotion than gratitude. Being part of a good film is always a pleasure, but when it is such a big film, with such grandeur, style, and anticipation, it’s a totally different experience. It’s a whole new level of excitement happening inside me. I really hope everyone loves the film when they watch it. It is going to be a great experience in theatres."

 

She also reflected on her past collaborations with the legendary actor Mohanlal, noting, "Working with Mohanlal is any day a blessing for any actor. I’ve been fortunate to have worked with him in several films, and I can proudly say that most of my appreciated and loved films and roles have been with him. I should thank him for the amazing space he has given me as a co-actor. It’s always a blessing. I will never be satisfied with any number of films I get to do with the legend Mohanlal."

 

Talking about her experience working on L2: Empuraan, Manju Warrier expressed how easy her role was due to the direction of Prithviraj Sukumaran. She said, "For this film, my job was very easy because Prithviraj is one of the directors who has utmost clarity and conviction. The confidence he has and the way he communicates with the actors makes your job so easy. You just have to try to deliver what he is expecting from you. It was a very pleasurable and pleasant experience."

 

Empuraan is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on 27 March 2025 in standard and IMAX formats, making it the first Malayalam film to be released in IMAX .
