Aamir Khan Celebrates 60th Birthday with Fans and Media

Aamir Khan, one of the most beloved and influential stars of Indian cinema, celebrated his 60th birthday in style, surrounded by fans and the media. The actor, who has been a part of the Hindi film industry for over four decades, marked this special occasion by cutting two cakes while fans and well-wishers cheered him on. Aamir Khan's journey in the world of cinema began in 1984 with the film Holi, but it was his breakout role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) that catapulted him to stardom. Over the years, Aamir has proven his versatility, taking on a wide range of roles that have garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success. Along with fellow superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Aamir turns 60 this year, marking a milestone in the careers of the three actors who have defined Bollywood for generations.

 

To celebrate this significant moment, a special film festival titled Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar has been organized. The festival, which aims to honor Aamir’s incredible contribution to Indian cinema, will screen some of his best films in theatres once again. Starting on his birthday, March 14, the festival will run until March 27 across PVR INOX theatres nationwide, offering fans a chance to relive the magic of Aamir’s iconic performances on the big screen.

 

Looking ahead, Aamir Khan fans have much to look forward to. The actor will next star in Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to his 2007 directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. The original film, which received critical acclaim for its sensitive portrayal of a young boy with dyslexia, holds a special place in the hearts of audiences. Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to bring the same depth and emotional resonance, marking yet another chapter in Aamir Khan’s illustrious career.
