Rozlyn Khan Calls Out Hina Khan’s Cancer Portrayal, Suggests Movie with Her as Lead

Rozlyn Khan Calls Out Hina Khan's Cancer Portrayal, Suggests Movie with Her as Lead

A heated controversy has erupted between cancer survivor Rozlyn Khan and television star Hina Khan, after Rozlyn publicly accused Hina of exaggerating the severity of her breast cancer diagnosis. The dispute began when Rozlyn, who has battled cancer herself, expressed concern that Hina’s portrayal of her illness was misleading and could potentially misguide fans and cancer patients.

Rozlyn’s first point of contention centered on Hina’s fasting practices while claiming to have stage 3 cancer. She said, “Now you all must have seen, Hina Khan is fasting right now, its stage 3 cancer, 8-9 months since her super surgery took place, and Roza lasts 14-15 hours without water and food, this is the most difficult thing for a cancer survivor, and one could clearly make out that she is spreading lies. I am not saying she doesn’t have cancer, she does have it, but the kind of exaggeration she is doing, that is all fake.” Rozlyn went further to mock Hina’s portrayal of cancer, stating, “In the name of cancer, comedy is going on. A cancer patient is going through chemo, and doing swimming, scuba diving, and now she is fasting. After seeing all this, I am inspired, now I am thinking I will make a movie with her as the lead in it. She is lady Rajinikanth, no one can do better acting on cancer than her.”

The situation escalated when Rozlyn shared what she claimed to be Hina’s PET scan reports, alleging that Hina had been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, rather than the stage 3 diagnosis that Hina had publicly stated. Rozlyn’s disclosure led to further accusations of Hina misrepresenting her condition to her followers. “People struggling with Cancer right now, I would like to tell them that do not follow any celebrity, including me. Listen to your doctor, and do as your doctor guides you because there is so much misinformation circulating on social media in India, especially Instagram. So just be careful,” Rozlyn warned, advising cancer patients to trust medical professionals rather than celebrity accounts on social media.

Rozlyn’s harsh words have sparked a wider debate about the portrayal of serious illnesses like cancer on social media and the responsibility celebrities have when discussing their health. While some defend Hina’s right to share her personal journey, others support Rozlyn’s concern about the potential harm caused by spreading misinformation about such a serious condition.
