Another Week, Another New release this time renowned director Muthyala Subbaiah under the Muthyala Movie Makers, presents "Thalli Manasu" where as his son Muthyala Anantha Kishore's debut as a producer. Starring Rachita Mahalakshmi, Kamal Kamaraju, Satvik, and Sahitya in prominent roles and introducing V. Srinivas (Cippy) as the director. Lets see how the movie fares.

 

Story:
The movie starts by introducing Ganesh (Satvik), as a bank employee, who is in pursuit of recovering a loan given to Pramila, a young woman. Janakiram (Kamal Kamaraju) works in the electricity department and is married to Jyothi (Rachita Mahalakshmi). Ganesh is their son. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Janakiram loses his life, leaving Jyothi to single-handedly raise Ganesh amidst hardships. Later, Ganesh also dies in an accident, forcing Jyothi to work under Charan (Adarsh).

How did Ganesh and Janakiram die? Why does Jyothi work for Charan? What is the mystery behind Janakiram and Ganesh's death ? Who is the main antagonist? What happens to Ganesh’s girlfriend Pramila? The answers to these questions form the basic crux of Talli Manasu.

Analysis:
Rachita Mahalakshmi delivers the best performance as a mother, while Kamal Kamaraju delivers an impressive performance as the father. Satvik, playing their son, showcases settled acting.

The supporting cast, including Sahitya, Raghu Babu, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Vaishnavi, Deviprasad, Adarsh Balakrishna, Shanta Kumar, Gautham Raju, and Devisri, perform well within their limited screen space.

Saravanan's story serves as the film's backbone under the supervision of Muthyala Subbaiah. Nivas' dialogues and Bhuvanachandra’s meaningful lyrics added depth to the narrative.

Koti's songs and background score are a major plus, enhancing the emotional weight of the story.

D.O.P. N. Sudhakar Reddy’s cinematography is commendable, while editor Nagireddy ensures a crisp and engaging cut. Venkateswara Rao’s art direction is neat and fits the film’s tone.

"Thalli Manasu " makes the audience reflect on real-life incidents prevalent in today’s society. The film beautifully portrays a mother’s sentiment and is packed with moments that appeal to all sections of audiences. Director V. Srinivas made this film with an engaging screenplay which give best impression most of the part.

Muthyala Subbaiah’s son, Muthyala Anantha Kishore, debuts as a producer with this heartfelt family drama. With its strong narrative, "Thalli Manasu" appeals to viewers of all age groups and is a perfect watch for weekend.
