Superstar Mahesh Babu Launches the Trailer of Sukriti Veni’s Gandhi Tatha Chettu

The trailer of Gandhi thata chettu , featuring Sukumar Bandreddy’s daughter Sukriti Veni Bandreddy in the lead role, was launched by superstar Mahesh Babu through his social media. Directed by Padmavati Malladi, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and Gopi Talkies. Tabitha Sukumar is presenting the movie, while Naveen Yerneni, Yalamanchili Ravishankar, and Shesha Sindhu Rao have jointly produced it.

The film has already been screened at several international film festivals, winning multiple awards. Sukriti Veni also received the Best Child Artist award for her performance. The movie is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 24.

The trailer suggests that the story revolves around a girl named Gandhi who, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s principles, strives to protect her grandfather’s beloved tree and her village. The emotional narrative appears to be centered on how the girl follows the path of non-violence to achieve her goal. Sukumar himself plays a role in the film alongside his daughter Sukriti Veni. The trailer has received praise for its touching and heartfelt presentation.

The cast of Gandhi Tatha Chettu includes Sukriti Veni, Anand Chakrapani, Raghuram, Bhanu Prakash, Nehal Anand Kunkuma, and Rag Mayur. The music is composed by Re, while cinematography is handled by Srijith Cheruvupalli and Vishwa Devabattula. Editing is by Harishankar TN, and the lyrics are written by Suddala Ashok Teja, Kasarla Shyam, and Vishwa. Production design is by V. Nani Pandu, with Ashok Bandreddy as the co-producer and Abhinay Chilukamarri as the executive producer. The film is written and directed by Padmavati Malladi.
