Raj Arjun Talks About His Upcoming Film Match Fixing and His Approach to Choosing Scripts

Raj Arjun, a versatile actor known for his impeccable performances across a range of roles, is gearing up for yet another exciting project — Match Fixing. In an exclusive interview, he opened up about the thrill and challenges of working on the film, the anxiety and excitement that come with any new project, and his philosophy towards acting and handling public scrutiny.

Raj Arjun’s excitement is palpable as he talks about his role in Match Fixing. "It feels good whenever a new project comes out," he shares. "There’s a little anxiety, but also excitement and nervousness. I hope that Match Fixing works — not just for me, but for Pallavi and Kedar as well. It’s their first film, and the content is unique, fresh, and different from mainstream cinema. I truly hope more and more people get connected to it."

Arjun, who has been known to bring a range of characters to life, believes in the importance of working on diverse content. He added, "It’s a unique project, and I believe in it. I want the audience to appreciate and connect with the film."

When asked about his criteria for selecting scripts, Raj Arjun revealed that his decision-making process is driven by a deeper connection with the story and the character. “Whenever a script comes my way, my goal is always to find a good role, a good story, and something that will challenge me as an actor. I want to feel a sense of satisfaction, to know that I can carry the role and convey it to the audience in a meaningful way,” he explained.

Arjun looks for roles that allow him to immerse himself in the narrative, where it doesn’t feel like he’s performing, but rather living the character. "I want to be part of stories where I don’t just act, but where I can completely lose myself in the role. It shouldn’t feel like I’m ‘acting’ at all. It should feel natural, almost like I am just being."
