Suspense thriller Fear, starring Vedhika in the lead role, has been released recently and widely praised. Produced by Dr. Vanki Penchalayya and AR Abhi under the banner of Dattatreya Media, with Sujatha Reddy as co-producer, the film was directed by Dr. Haritha Gogineni. This suspense thriller also features Arvind Krishna in a special role. Before its release, Fear created a new record by winning over 70 awards at prestigious international film festivals. The movie had a grand theatrical release on December 14th, and is currently receiving a superhit response at all the centers where it was released. After that, we applied for international awards and received more than 70 awards across 39 international film festivals. We completed the first copy of the film within 7 months of starting production. These are our achievements with Fear. It’s quite rare to make and release a short film with all the necessary elements in such a short time, with talented artists. Our technicians and artists were extremely cooperative. It's not a small feat to win more than 70 awards from international film festivals. When a celebrity wins an award, it attracts a lot of attention, but since we are newcomers, nobody has focused on our achievements. Even the reviewers have missed some aspects of our film. For instance, we used a unique color pattern in Fear and designed costumes that suited the mood of the scenes. Until now, no film in our industry has featured such a distinctive color scheme. We also shot some scenes in single takes. As we mentioned earlier, this is a psychological suspense thriller with a horror element. We stuck to the story and didn’t include unnecessary elements. It was not possible to incorporate all the commercial aspects typically expected in a small-budget film. We made a quality movie within the available budget. We hired Vedhika Garu, who understood what was required for our story and characters, and she performed excellently. As a director, I’m receiving praise from the audience along with positive reviews. As a producer, Abhi worked very hard and took risks. It’s often said that suspense thrillers don’t have a repeat audience, but Fear movie has a repeat audience, that’s a huge achievement.
