During the event, Sunny spoke about his long-standing collaboration with director Anil Sharma and praised the filmmaker for his unique approach to storytelling.
He said, "I have done many films with him. All his films have different stories and different characters and all his films have been successful. They have done well at the box office. box office is another perception game but i am very happy and proud of this film vanvaas.
He also noted the rarity of family-oriented films being made these days, emphasizing how films with strong family themes are becoming less common in the industry. He said, "Family-oriented films are becoming very rare these days."
He further added, "Whenever I work with him (Anil Sharma), we create Hindi cinema. We make something about the country, something about our culture. When I work with other directors, they don't even understand that. But when I work with him, it’s enjoyable. We all have flaws, but when a team is formed, we cover each other’s flaws and bring out the good, and in totality, we create a great film. I’m an emotional person. and I am sure this film will be about family and values. I have full faith in him from that perspective."
