Rajesh Kumar Eyes Villainous Roles in Exciting New Career Phase

Rajesh Kumar, a seasoned actor renowned for his remarkable versatility and impeccable comic timing on Indian television, is now ready to venture into uncharted territory. Known for his memorable roles in shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and F.I.R., Rajesh has been a household name for years. However, after decades of portraying beloved characters, the actor is eager to surprise his fans by exploring the darker side of his acting abilities. In a recent conversation, he shared his excitement about taking on a full-fledged negative role, something he feels is long overdue.

 

"I want to play a full-fledged negative character now," Rajesh said, revealing his desire to dive deeper into the villainous realm. While he explored a more sinister role in the film Haddi, he is now seeking a more intense, complex antagonist character. "I want to surprise the audience and show them a completely different aspect of my acting," he added. Rajesh’s desire to take on such a role marks a new chapter in his career, one that will allow him to break free from his established image and display his range as an actor.

 

Reflecting on this exciting new phase, Rajesh noted how his career has evolved over time. "As an actor, it’s a blessing to be able to portray different characters," he said. "I feel like I’m at a stage where the transition is happening very smoothly. I’m now getting the chance to explore roles that reflect my age and maturity." Rajesh explained that he's no longer confined to playing boyish characters but is stepping into roles that allow him to explore more mature and challenging aspects of human nature. "Whether it's playing a father or taking on a complex role like the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, these are characters that allow me to expand my range and truly showcase my versatility."

 

Rajesh is deeply appreciative of the opportunities he's receiving and credits the makers and casting agencies for recognizing his potential in diverse roles. "Thankfully, makers and casting agencies are seeing something in me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on these diverse roles. I’m really enjoying this phase of my career and loving every bit of it," he shared.

 

Looking ahead, Rajesh Kumar is staying busy with multiple projects. "I have three films releasing next year, so I'm busy shooting for them," he revealed. With a career spanning over 25 years, Rajesh’s ability to keep evolving as an actor has earned him a dedicated fan base. As he steps into these new roles, he hopes that his audience continues to support him and embrace the wide variety of characters he’s set to bring to life on screen.
