Excited for Karan Arjun Re-Release Says Arbaaz Khan

Actor and producer Arbaaz Khan has expressed his excitement for the much-anticipated re-release of the iconic Bollywood film Karan Arjun, which originally starred Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Speaking to the media during a movie screening in Mumbai, Arbaaz shared his personal connection to the film and praised director Rakesh Roshan for bringing the classic back to the big screen. "Karan Arjun is one of my favourite films, and it’s great to know that Rakesh Roshan is re-releasing it," he said. "We don’t know when we’ll see two of the biggest superstars in leading roles together like that again."

The re-release of Karan Arjun comes at a time when the trend of reviving classic films is gaining momentum in Bollywood. Arbaaz, who has always been a strong advocate for preserving cinematic history, believes this trend is a welcome change. "It’s a good thing that the concept of re-releases is coming back," he said. "In the past, films would be re-released after selling their re-issue rights. With the rise of OTT and satellite platforms, that practice faded, but now it’s making a comeback, and I think it’s wonderful. Some films that have been re-released recently have done really well, and it’s a great opportunity for new audiences to experience them."

Reflecting on the enduring appeal of Karan Arjun, Arbaaz noted how the film continues to resonate with fans. "When Salman made a cameo in Pathaan, people loved it, and it reminded them of the magic Salman and Shah Rukh create together on screen," he added. "I’m sure the re-release of Karan Arjun will evoke similar nostalgia and excitement among the audience."

When asked if he’d like to see any of his own films re-released, Arbaaz was quick to mention his 1998 romantic comedy Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. "I think Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya would be a great film for people to re-watch," he said. "Even now, when I meet people, they often mention it as one of their favorite films. It’s a fun movie, and I think people would love to watch it again on the big screen."

Arbaaz’s enthusiasm for the revival of classic films highlights how Bollywood is embracing the idea of bringing past hits back to theaters. With Karan Arjun set to return to cinemas, and the potential for more re-releases in the future, it seems that the magic of nostalgia is becoming an integral part of the Bollywood movie-going experience once again.
