Ashneer Grover Clears the Air After Salman Khan Roasting on Bigg Boss 18

Entrepreneur and celebrity Ashneer Grover recently appeared on the Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where he was roasted by none other than Salman Khan over a viral video. The exchange sparked a buzz among fans, with Salman questioning Ashneer’s past claims regarding their professional dealings. However, Ashneer has now taken to his X (formerly Twitter) profile to clear the air and set the record straight, addressing the controversy surrounding their interaction.

 

In a detailed post, Ashneer expressed his enjoyment of the Bigg Boss episode, acknowledging the high TRP and viewership of the show. He clarified that his comments about Salman were never intended to be disrespectful, adding, “Salman is a great host & actor, and I’ve always praised him for his sense of self and business.” He further confirmed that none of his statements were meant to demean Salman, reaffirming his respect for the actor’s professional persona.

 

Ashneer also addressed the allegations of misleading claims about their past dealings, specifically mentioning a meeting he had with Salman in May 2019 at JW Marriott in Juhu. He noted that while he wasn’t a public figure at the time, the meeting was part of a brand collaboration discussion, which was genuine and verified by his bank and auditors. “My deal numbers are always correct,” he wrote, emphasizing the authenticity of his business dealings.

 

Despite the light-hearted roast on Bigg Boss 18, Ashneer made it clear that he holds no grudges and even shared a picture with Salman Khan, thanking him for the experience. “I’ve a pic with him – which I didn’t earlier. Thanks @BeingSalmanKhan. Keep rocking!” he concluded.

 

In the Bigg Boss episode, Salman had confronted Ashneer over some of his podcast anecdotes, which Grover explained were dramatized for effect, but still based on real experiences. Despite the back-and-forth, the former Shark Tank India judge made it clear that his respect for Salman remains intact, and the viral moment was all in good fun.

 

It seems that while the Bigg Boss roast made for an entertaining episode, the matter has been put to rest with Ashneer’s open and respectful response.
