Anil Kapoor recently celebrated a significant milestone in his illustrious career, marking the 35th anniversary of the iconic film Parinda.

Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Parinda premiered in 1989 and quickly became a defining film of Indian cinema. Featuring a stellar cast that includes Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, and Madhuri Dixit Nene, the film tells a gripping tale of two brothers, Kishen (Shroff) and Karan (Kapoor), as they navigate the complexities of love and crime in Mumbai. Its powerful narrative and memorable performances have ensured its place in the hearts of audiences for over three decades.

 

On the work front, Anil Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming project, Subedaar. In this action-drama, he portrays Subedaar Arjun Maurya, a character who faces challenges both on the battlefield and in his personal life, grappling with complex relationships and societal issues. 

 

The film, directed by Suresh Triveni, promises an adrenaline-fueled narrative that delves into the intricate transition of a soldier to civilian life. Radhikka will star as Shyama, the daughter of Kapoor’s character, adding another layer of depth to the story.
