Guneet Monga Joins The Fable as Executive Producer Ahead of MAMI Premiere

Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment has proudly announced her collaboration with director Raam Reddy as an executive producer on the highly anticipated film The Fable, which is set to premiere at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival following its successful world premiere at Berlinale 2024.

In a recent post on social media, Sikhya Entertainment shared an eye-catching poster for the film, celebrating its journey: “After a heartwarming response at the World Premiere of The Fable at Berlinale 2024, we at Sikhya are proud to join Raam Reddy’s labor of love as Executive Producers and bring it to MAMI Mumbai Film Festival for its Asia Premiere!”

The Fable features an impressive cast, including renowned actors Manoj Bajpayee, Hiral Sidhu, Priyanka Bose, Tillotama Shome, Awan Pookot, and Deepak Dobriyal. This Indian-American co-production is jointly produced by Pratap Reddy and Sunmin Park under their respective banners, Prspctvs Productions and Maxmedia.

Notably, The Fable made history by being only the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in a key competitive section at the Berlin International Film Festival. Its unique storytelling and artistic approach have already garnered significant acclaim.

The film is shot in 16mm, a choice that underscores its artistic vision and adds a distinct texture to the storytelling. This technical decision reflects the filmmakers' commitment to creating a rich cinematic experience.

The Fable is set to compete in the South Asia Competition section at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024. This prestigious festival will provide an important platform for the film to reach a broader audience and celebrate the vibrancy of South Asian cinema.
