Directed by T.J. Gnanavel, Vettaiyan blends elements of crime thriller with a commercial storyline. The film follows SP Athiyan, played by Rajinikanth, as he investigates a brutal murder.
The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan (in his Tamil debut), Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami and Ramesh Thilak. The film opened in cinema halls today, 10th October 2024.
