Murshid centers around Kay Kay Menon as Murshid Pathan, a once-feared gangster who has been living in exile. The tranquility of his retirement is shattered when his former ally turned adversary, Farid (played by Zakir Hussain), pulls him back into the criminal underworld. Farid’s schemes put Murshid’s son in grave danger, forcing Murshid to confront his past and fight to protect his family and legacy.

Tanuj Virwani plays Kumar Pratap, an inspector who is not only Murshid’s adopted son but also a significant player in the unfolding drama. Rajesh Shringarpure portrays Jayendra Rao, an ambitious politician who manipulates the situation to his advantage.
