It Is Important To Stay Different Says Ajay Devgn

Actor Ajay Devgn, who is known for taking risky projects which goes against market trend, said that more than difficult it is important for an actor to stay different. 

 

Ajay Devgn along with Tabu, Saiee Manjrekar, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jimmy Sheirgill, Neeraj Pandey, MM Keeravaani and more graced the trailer launch of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. 

 

Ajay Devgn has always picked subjects which goes against the market trend, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, is one example of it. We asked Ajay if it is difficult to stay different when so much money is riding on the project, he said, “More than difficult, I would say it is very important, to stay different. When Neeraj narrated me the story, and I am being honest right now, I said I loved the script, I loved the story, it just touches you so much. But commercially, I don’t know what is going to happen, but Neeraj was like leave all that to me, don’t worry, and I said OKAY.” 

 

“There are times when you doubt things, but more than that it is very important that you keep on trying and doing something different, and I have tried to do it from the beginning of my career. I did Takshak, when no one was doing it, I did Raincoat or Dil Kya Kare, that kept me going, and whatever I learnt on the way, all of it, is being useful to me today” added Ajay. 

 

The film story follows a couple whose love story spans 23 years, delving into the emotional depth and evolving dynamics of their relationship over two decades, and culminating into one final meeting.

 

Written and directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is slated for 5th July 2024 release.
