Israel said it had rescued four hostages who were kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 last year.
It's the largest such hostage recovery operation since the war with Hamas began in Gaza.
The army said the four were rescued on Saturday in a complex special daytime operation in Nuseirat in central Gaza.
