Kartik Aaryan Jets Off to Gwalior for ‘Chandu Champion’ Trailer Launch Amid Personal Grief

In a striking beige full-sleeve t-shirt paired with denim jeans and boots, Kartik Aaryan made a stylish yet somber appearance at Mumbai Airport today. The actor was en route to Gwalior for the trailer launch of his upcoming film, "Chandu Champion." However, beneath his stylish exterior, Kartik was visibly distressed, grappling with a recent personal tragedy.

Kartik Aaryan's arrival at the airport came in the wake of a devastating incident. The actor recently lost his maternal uncle and aunt in the tragic Ghatkopar hoarding crash. This loss has understandably taken a toll on him, and his somber demeanor reflected the grief he is currently experiencing. Despite his personal turmoil, Kartik remained professional, making his way to Gwalior for the crucial trailer launch event.

Amidst his distress, Kartik showed remarkable grace, pausing to acknowledge the paparazzi. Though visibly grieving, he took a moment to pose for photos, demonstrating his commitment to his fans and the film's promotion. In a candid and heartfelt moment, Kartik gently requested, "There is something going on at my home, so please," indicating his need for privacy during this difficult time. He also added, "And please don't post whatever I am saying right now," appealing for sensitivity and respect from the media.

Chandu Champion is written and directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Largely inspired by the life of India's first Paralympics swimmer Murlikant Petkar, it stars Kartik Aaryan in the titular role.

Chandu Champion is scheduled to release on 14 June 2024.
