Bollywood Mourns the Loss of Ritesh Sidhwani’s Mother

The Bollywood fraternity is in mourning following the passing of producer Ritesh Sidhwani's mother. The news has sent ripples of grief throughout the industry, with many celebrities coming forward to offer their condolences and pay their last respects.

Ritesh Sidhwani, co-founder of Excel Entertainment, was joined by family members including Farhan Akhtar and his wife Shibani Dandekar at Hinduja Hospital, where his mother had been admitted. The family, deeply affected by the loss, received an outpouring of support from friends and colleagues.

Among those who visited the hospital were veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and more. Their presence highlighted the deep respect and affection the Bollywood community holds for Sidhwani and his family.

Ritesh Sidhwani, a prominent film producer, co-founded Excel Entertainment with Farhan Akhtar. Their first film, "Dil Chahta Hai," was a groundbreaking success, winning the National Award in 2001. Since then, Excel Entertainment has grown into one of the leading production companies in Indian cinema.
