Bollywood Bids An Emotional Goodbye to Sangeeth Sivan

The film industry is in mourning as it bids farewell to one of its talented directors, Sangeeth Sivan, who recently passed away at the age of 65 due to a heart attack. Sangeeth Sivan was laid to rest at the Oshiwara Crematorium ground in Mumbai, a city he had called home for the past few decades.

 

 

Sangeeth Sivan's passing has left a void in the hearts of many, especially in the film fraternity, where he was highly respected for his work. Born in Thiruvananthapuram, Sangeeth Sivan was the elder brother of the acclaimed cinematographer and director, Santosh Sivan.

 

The film fraternity came together to bid a heartfelt goodbye to Sangeeth Sivan, with prominent figures such as Javed Jaffrey, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher, Raj Zutshi and many more paying their respects to the late filmmaker.

 

Sangeeth Sivan's journey in the film industry began as a writer and executive producer for the Hindi film "Raakh" (1989). He later transitioned into a full-time director, with one of his notable works being "Yoddha" (1992), a major hit in Malayalam cinema.

 

His contributions to the world of cinema were immense, and he will be remembered for his storytelling prowess and his ability to create cinematic magic on screen. Sangeeth Sivan's legacy will live on through his impactful work, which has left an indelible mark on the industry.
