Russia and Kazakhstan continued struggling with heavy floods which have so far claimed seven lives, authorities said. In Russias Tyumen region the water level in the Ishim river reached 12 meters 22 centimeters (39 ft) on Tuesday morning, which exceeds the all-time high by 74 centimeters (29.1 inches), the local governor said.
