Sidharth Malhotra: Learning Selflessness from Soldiers

Actor Sidharth Malhotra, known for his versatile roles in Bollywood, is gearing up to portray yet another challenging character in the upcoming movie "Yodha." As he steps into the shoes of a special commando, Malhotra reflects on the qualities that make soldiers stand out, particularly their selfless nature.

In a recent interaction with the media during a promotional event for "Yodha," Malhotra shared his insights into the mindset of soldiers. He expressed admiration for their ability to prioritize others over themselves, a quality he believes can benefit everyone. Drawing from his experiences playing military and law enforcement roles in films like "Shershaah" and portraying an officer in the Indian Police Force, Malhotra emphasized the importance of thinking beyond oneself.

"Soldiers are trained for quick thinking and discipline. They always put others first and then think about themselves. I think that is one quality that can make everyone better in life—think a little less about yourself and more about other people, whether it’s about protecting them or helping them," said Malhotra.

Furhter adding, “I think anyone in this country who dons a uniform, or soldier, he would always think about other people first, especially during a large gathering, I think this is one remarkable quality that one could learn from soldier.”
