Multi-Generational Ensemble Was The Coup Says Homi Adajani On Murder Mubarak

Filmmaker Homi Adajania, who has managed to bring three different generations of actors in Murder Mubarak, says the coup was the casting and working with them. 

 

Homi Adajani along with entire ensemble of Murder Mubarak was interacting with media during the trailer launch in Mumbai. 

 

When asked about roping a varied and interesting ensemble for murder mystery, Homi said, “A multi-generational cast, from Dimple to Karisma to Sara and Vijay, and more, all of them are unique actors and unique people, I almost forgot Pankaj Tripathi, for whom I made this movie.” 

 

“And what’s been interesting every character is different and unique, and all the actors have inhabited their character so truthfully and as whacky as they are, so they are sort of endearing and entertaining, so the coup was all of us coming together and making this, I don’t think I would have done it all by myself” added Homi. 

 

Murder Mubarak, a mystery thriller film based on the novel Club You To Death written by Anuja Chauhan. The film is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. 

 

The film features an ensemble cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Suhail Nayyar.

 

The film is set to be released on Netflix on 15 March 2024.
