Sandeep Reddy Vanga Lauds Siddharth-Garima’s Talent at ‘Dukaan’ Trailer Launch

At the trailer launch of 'Dukaan', the directorial debut of Siddharth and Garima, acclaimed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga showered praise on the duo, calling them the most talented writers in the country. The event, held in Mumbai, was a celebration of their journey from successful screenwriters to directors.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his films like 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Kabir Singh', expressed his admiration for Siddharth and Garima's writing prowess. He recalled his association with them, stating, "I have known them for five years. They wrote dialogues for 'Kabir Singh', and I read the script of 'Dukaan' some three years ago. In fact, I was with Siddharth and Garima when they put up their first hoarding in Mumbai."

Praising their storytelling abilities, Sandeep added, "They are the most talented writers in the town and the country. Apart from 'Dukaan', I have heard other stories as well that they will release in the future. Apart from being friends, I think I still have this image of these two that wow they are such talented writers."

Speaking about 'Dukaan', which revolves around the life of a surrogate mother, Sandeep highlighted the emotional depth of the story. "I like the story of 'Dukaan', it moved me. The suffering of a surrogate is something no one knows about, and I think they have brought that out in this film," he said.

Siddharth and Garima are also known for their work on films like 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela', 'Raabta', and 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha'. 'Dukaan', based on true events, features a talented cast including Monika Pawar, Sikander Kher, Monali Thakur, and more. The film is set to release on April 5, 2024, and promises to be a poignant and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
