Hustlers: Jugaad Ka Khel star Vishal Vashishtha reveals he quit two professions before pursuing acting

Amazon miniTV, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently premiered its highly anticipated entrepreneurial drama series, Hustlers: Jugaad Ka Khel. Since its premiere on the service, the series has been garnering heaps of praise from viewers.

Hustlers: Jugaad Ka Khel tells the tale of a young boy from a small village, Sanjay Sharma, who ‘hustles’ his way to the top of the startup ecosystem in India. It follows the journey of Sanjay, who finds his fiercest competitor and critic in his brother, as he establishes his name in Mumbai after making it to IIE - much to his family’s surprise. However, he soon realizes that his primary obstacle to success was not beating his brother but overcoming his inner demons that were keeping him from becoming the blue-eyed boy of the country. This coming-of-age tale of one of India's biggest disruptors in the startup space is sure to inspire the nation's youth and everyone searching for their inner light.

Talking about Hustlers: Jugaad Ka Khel, Vishal Vashishtha, who essays the role of Sanjay in the series, revealed how he kicked off his acting career.  He shared, “I wouldn’t say I turned towards acting because I felt it was my passion. There was definitely a liking for performing arts in school and college days. I had already quit two professions before I ventured into acting. It happened out of sheer fascination for the world of filmmaking. IMDb Top 250 was my go-to movie list. I had never been an avid World Cinema watcher. There was a time, during my college, when I had a lot of free time on my hands.  I was trying to figure out what to do in life - professionally. That’s when I started watching great films. It was only a couple of years into acting that I started loving the craft and made some concrete efforts to understand it better,”
