The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer who finds himself forced into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.
In the teaser, we can see Prithviraj as Najeed walking alone in dessert, trying to find his way home. The film also stars Jimmy Jean Louis, Amala Paul, Rik Aby and Talib al Balushi.
The music is composed by AR Rahman, the film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States, and features dialogues in Arabic and Malayalam languages. It is slated for 10th April 2024 release.
