The couple ventured from the serene Madh to the bustling 'town,' exploring the iconic streets of South Bombay, creating a tapestry of memories that harked back to their early dating days.
Sharing a string of pictures from the date, Archana captioned her post, “Yesterday Parmeet and I went on a date... to 'town,' all the way from Madh (For non Mumbaiites, 'town' means all areas South of probably Mahim and Bandra)”
“When I was an aspiring actor and a 'townie' living in South Bombay, my favourite haunts were the Shamiana at The Taj and Samarkand at The Oberoi. How I loved the lunches at these coffee shops, particularly at Samarkand where the beautiful bay windows gave such a vista of Marine Drive and the Arabian sea. Well, sadly the Samarkand no longer exists, having paved the way for, sigh, luxury shops but Shamiana is still very much present in all its iconic glory, albeit somewhat modified in the name and game of modernisation. Nonetheless both Parmeet and I were treated to a dose of nostalgia for our dating days while we tucked into delicious, piping hot food that included chhaunka palak, dal fry, lacchha parathas, (he also had some non veg pulao which I didn't care to remember the name of) The service at @tajmahalmumbai is unarguably the best in the world and we felt pampered both by the feeling in our tummies as well as our hearts when we left from there.”
“Our day out together was made even more perfect because Mumbai finally saw some lower temperatures, and the balminess in the air enhanced our experience. It was not just a lunch at a coffee shop; it was the long travel together from Madh and back, the strolling through Kala Ghoda shopping for whatever caught our fancy, the sharing of a large cup of hot tea while we zipped back trying to beat the evening traffic... it was all fun and wholesome at the same time. Chalo, Mr. Sethi... let's do this more often. Just you and I. #unfiltered @iamparmeetsethi #shamianataj #datewiththehusband” added Archana.
