Teenage student gunned down in Sheikhpura. Patna December 25 (IANS): A 17 year old student was gunned down in Bihar’s Sheikhpura district on Monday. The incident occurred at a time when the victim Suraj Yadav was on the way to a coaching center in the morning when bike borne assailants opened fire on him leaving dead at the crime scene. The victim sustained four gunshot injuries. The family member of the deceased took him to Sheikhpura Sadar hospital where doctors declared him dead. The incident occurred at Hasanganj railway crossing under town police station in the district. The victim is a resident of Teldih village under Ariyari block and he was residing in a Bangali Tola locality in Sheikhpura city. Following the incident, the family members became angry and demanded for the arrest of the accused. Sheikhpura SP Kartikeya Sharma reached the hospital and assured the family members about immediate arrest of the accused. The police said that the reason for the incident appeared to be a land dispute in prima facie. However the matter is under investigation. Ends. IANS.AJK.
