Recent reports have surfaced indicating that Lokesh Kanagaraj's Facebook page was hacked, leading to confusion among his followers. The filmmaker promptly addressed the situation by taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account to provide clarity and set the record straight.

 

In a tweet, Lokesh Kanagaraj stated, "Hey all, I’m only available on Twitter and Instagram, I do not have or use any other social media accounts. Please feel free to ignore and unfollow any other hoax accounts!" This announcement not only clarified the situation but also emphasized the importance of verifying social media accounts to avoid falling prey to fake profiles.

 

Interestingly, it appears that Lokesh Kanagaraj never had an official Facebook page to begin with, and the compromised account was merely a random profile impersonating the filmmaker. This incident sheds light on the prevalence of online impersonation and the need for increased vigilance among social media users.
