Sharing a PDA pictures on his social media profile, Atlee Kumar penned a romantic note for his wife Priya. He wrote, “It's your birthday, my dear! I prayed for a girl, but you know what? God is just so incredibly generous that He gave me an angel instead. tat angel make all my wishes come true, you're my everything.”
“And now, we have a cute little addition to our family, Meer. Both father and son are here to wish our very own real-life cartoon, Suji Mummy, a truly amazing birthday. Sending lots of love your way, @priyaatlee” added Atlee.
Atlee married actress Krishna Priya on 9 November 2014. Their son, Meer, was born on 31 January 2023.
After directing Tamil movies for a decade, Atlee Kumar made his Hindi directorial with Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, along with others. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt made a special appearance and cameo appearance, respectively, in the film.
It set the record for a Hindi film grossing 75 crores on its opening day. It grossed 520.79 crores worldwide in its opening weekend.
