Deepika Singh Expresses Honor and Privilege as ‘Titu Ambani’ Screens at Moonwhite International Film Festival

Television star Deepika Singh, renowned for her decade-long career in the industry, is now celebrating the screening of her debut movie, 'Titu Ambani,' at the 6th Moonwhite International Film Festival in Mumbai. The actress expressed her gratitude, stating that she feels honored and privileged for the opportunity to showcase her work on such a prestigious platform.

 

The 6th Moonwhite International Film Festival in Mumbai featured a diverse array of national, international, and regional short films, feature films, and docu-dramas, all presented to a distinguished jury and eminent personalities in the film industry.

 

'Titu Ambani,' a social drama film written and directed by Rohit Raj Goyal, marks Deepika Singh's foray into the world of cinema. In an interview with Newshelpline, she shared her excitement about the screening, stating, "I am honored and privileged that my movie 'Titu Ambani' is being screened here at Moonlight International Film Festival. It feels good when your work is showcased, because not many get to showcase their work. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the final verdict, which will be out tomorrow."

 

The transition from television to film is a significant step for Deepika Singh, who has spent a substantial part of her career in the television industry. When asked about the differences between the two mediums, she highlighted the meticulous preparation required for films compared to the spontaneity of television. She said, "There is a huge difference. In films, before going on the sets, you must do all the work, such as script reading, prep, and making notes. But on television, mostly you work through the show; you get the script on sets or scene five minutes prior to shooting it."

 

Deepika emphasized that television work makes actors more spontaneous, allowing them to perform naturally. The difference in approach, according to her, makes the entire process a learning experience.

 

'Titu Ambani' is produced by Mahendra Vijaydan Detha and Dinesh Kumar under the banner of Sabal Productions. As Deepika Singh eagerly awaits the final verdict, her journey from television to cinema adds another chapter to her versatile career, showcasing her adaptability and dedication to the art of storytelling.
