The film revolves around a complex relationship between a father and son. Often away due to work, Balbir Singh is unable to comprehend the intensity of his son's love. Ironically, the son's fervent love and admiration for his father and family creates conflict between the father and son.
With a runtime of 201 minutes, Animal is one of the longest Indian films ever made. It is slated for 1 December 2023 release.
