Patna, Nov 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) A man and his live-in partner were shot dead by unidentified persons in Paligang block on the outskirts of Patna, on Thursday.
Some passers-by spotted the bodies on the roadside near Khiri Mor on Madaripur-Fatehpur in Paliganj block and informed police.
Police also recovered three dead cartridges from the spot.
The deceased were identified as Rajendra Yadav, a resident of GausNagar under Khiri Mor police station and Shardha Devi, a resident of Maheshpur village under the same police station.
"The victims were in an illicit relationship and the murders can be a fallout of it. Rajendra Yadav was married twice but both his wives had died. He was living with Shardha Devi who was also a married woman. We are investigating the incident. Our team has found dead cartridges from the spot. The bodies have been sent for the post-mortem," said Awadhesh Dixit, SDPO Paliganj.
